Dungeness

I travelled very early to shoot this just before sunrise. I had spotted the railway lines on an earlier visit and wanted to return at the right time of day to shoot this scene. It is an unusual landscape for the UK, but then Dungeness is a unique place, and I think this shot gives it a look of a frontier town, full of mystery and intrigue.

This is shot on film and is printed by hand on Ilford Multigrade RC Deluxe Pearl paper. The paper has a very subtle warm tone to it. The image size is 15" x 9.5" and the paper size is 16" x 12". It is captioned, blind embossed and signed.
