American Bison, Bear Butte, South Dakota

The day before I took this photograph, I had been speaking to a local who told me about a guy who had decided to take his Harley Davidson Road King through an area that was home to a number of Bison. Apparently, he and his motorcycle were flung ten feet in the air after a (probably rather confused) bull charged him. I photographed this magnificent animal through the window of my hire car.

The paper size is 24" x 18.5" and the print is made on Hahnemuhle Bamboo paper. It is captioned, blind embossed and signed.
