Miles and miles from civilisation the Wahiba is situated on the eastern tip of Oman. It's impossible to put into words the feelings of calm and tranquility I experienced here, and I hope this image illustrates that feeling.
I spent the night under canvas very near this spot and took this photograph just as the sun had come up. It went from very cold, too very hot, very quickly.
The image size is 12" x 8" and the print measures 15" x 11.5". It is printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Pearl paper, which has a warm base and gsm of 320. The print is captioned 'Wahiba Sands, Oman II' on the front, blind embossed, and signed on the verso.
